Represented Artist

Bertrand Florizoone

Precision drawn by a machine, guided by hand.
About

Bertrand Florizoone works at the intersection of technology and art. Using a CNC system he designed and built himself, he explores what he calls "the intersection of machine and imagination" — controlled line, deliberate colour, and a quiet complexity that comes from letting a machine execute what the hand conceives.

Born in 1957, Bertrand lives and works in De Panne. After a long career as an engineer and production specialist in industry, he now paints full-time — and that background still shows. His paintings balance precision and rhythm with a more intuitive feel for form, movement and structure, combining digital control with hands-on intervention on the same self-built machine.
