Dine Maero

Dine Maero (Claudine Maernoudt) works in acrylic pours, letting colour and movement lead. In her own words, she gives shape to "emotions, intuition, and inner landscapes" — canvases that come from impulse rather than a predetermined plan.

Her palette moves through red, black, white and earth tones, worked with techniques that let chance and the material itself play a part — often landing somewhere quietly powerful and meditative, with the fluid, marble-like quality that runs through the whole body of work. She also exhibits at North Sea De Panne.
